Comprised of 4 valleys near the historic city of Verona, Valpolicella has been a favorite wine region of the American consumer for decades.  Famous for employing the medieval grape drying technique of appassimento, the area has produced fantastic grapes since Roman times and is home to thick wines that are firmly structured yet undeniably expressive in nature.

One of the area's most cutting edge estates, the Corte Adami winery was founded in 2004.  Working with some 36 hectares of mature vineyard sites owned by the Adami family for generations, the estate seeks to create harmonious, faithful representations of Garganega and Corvina through bottlings that highlight the expressive potential of the Soave and Valpolicella districts.  Natural, low-invasive methods are strictly employed in the vineyards, and the constant attention to quality has yielded prestigious, gratifying wines that have caught the attention of wine lovers and critics the world over.
