Overview

Tucked into the Jura foothills and sharing a border with France, Switzerland’s Three Lacs Region is home to the country’s greatest Chasselas and Pinot Noir. Here, some 932 hectares of vines flourish across three cantons, taking advantage of the gently rolling slopes and enviable micro climate which is derived from animmediate proximity to the lakes of Neuchatel, Bienne, and Morat.

Located near Cressier in the heart of the Entre-deux-Lacs district, the estate’s twenty hectares sit atop a large Morainic deposit boasting elements of limestone, sand, and marly pebbles. This rich and diverse soil allows the winery to produce fourteen grape varieties across seventeen different cru sites. Each site is separately vinified, endowing each wine with individual character and the stamp of its specific terroir.

Operated by Matthias Tobler and Annie Rossi, the estate has embraced biodynamic and sustainable methods since 2012. Seeking to preserve and refresh the vineyards in which they work, the duo strives to prove that Swiss wines deserve a prominent place on the worldwine map.
