Overview

Long heralded as "The King of Wines", Barolo has come to be recognized as one of Italy's most important and complex wines. First produced during the Risorgimento period for the House of Savoy and perfected by generations of Piemontese winemakers looking to create an elegant wine exuding structure and unique personality, the Nebbiolo produced in the district's eleven villages rank among the world's most famous and sought after wines.

Founded in 1925 on the grounds of an old schoolhouse, the estate encompasses some eight hectares of vines across cru sites now synonymous with the production of top-quality Barolo-Gramolere, Castelletto, and Bricat. Operated since 1971 by the legendary Giovanni Manzone, the winery is committed to edgy and solid Nebbiolo based wines that boast an intense, long finish. World famous for decades, these wines represent some of the finest Barolo available in the market today.
